Where are they now?

The Salomon Orchestra always works with guest conductors, and we thought it may be of interest to note what has  happened to some of them following the Salomon experience. Here is the beginnings of a list: any updates welcome. You can search the RepertoireAZ page to find out when and what they did with Salomon.

Nicholas Braithwaite - lives in wine producing country near Melbourne, Australia. Recent recordings include Shostakovich Symphonies No. 6, 7 and 9 with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Henry Wood’s orchestration of Pictures at an Exhibition with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Coleridge Taylor’s Violin Concerto with Lorraine MacAslan and the London Philharmonic.

Sir Andrew Davis - music director and principal conductor of the Lyric Opera of Chicago since September 2000.

Sir Simon Rattle - music director of the Berliner Philharmoniker.
